     Obesity is a physical state that causes constant mental anxiety. People with obesity are not beautiful. If a person gains too much weight and become fatty, where can we find his/her beauty? Obesity makes us ugly. It also affects a person’s efficiency and prevents him/her from participating in many activities. Obesity also causes psychological disorders.
  
   Women have more body fat than man. In woman, the fat usually accumulates around the hips giving them a pear shape. In man it accumulates around the belly giving them an apple shape. The obesity related problems start when fat accumulates around the waist.
      Factors related to obesity are of many types.
   Primarily the disorder in thyroid or pituitary glands are responsible for obesity. If no particular disorder of the endocrine gland is found in a fat person, the reason could be a wrong type of diet and the desire to eat plenty of food. Genetic factors also play a very vital role in obesity or over weight. It tends to run in families. If parents are fat then the offspring also show a tendency to accumulate fat.

     A person’s eating habits and their level of physical activities can also contribute to an excess deposition of fat. A life of ease and luxury is an important factor in obesity.
  
    Psychological factors like boredom, sadness and other negative emotions are also responsible for obesity. 
   Persons willing to achieve beauty and good health should strictly adhere to the following guidelines.

       Physical exertion i.e. doing house work, walking to bring groceries, vegetables etc, walking long distances, walking to work, climbing stairs.

  Consuming wheat products more than rice products helps to reduce obesity.

     Sleeping for fewer hours. Avoiding sleeping in afternoon helps to increase the burning of calories.

    Having sex frequently is also good physical output.

    Eating less and being more active helps in losing weight.

    Drink a glass of water mixed with lemon juice and drink in the morning every day.

    Eat a small piece of ginger with honey everyday in the morning.

  Exercise like brisk walking, jogging, and playing outdoor games etc. help to reduce weight.

     For basic nutritional needs eat a variety of foods every day.

     Try to cut down on foods containing high fats and sugar.

Obesity or overweight don’t only destroy our beauty but also it causes severe diseases like high blood pressure, heart disease, infertility, cancer, gout and osteoarthritis.
